FIT TESTING
RAFPS Safety provides to our clients quantitative Fit Testing Services utilizing the OHD 3000 Fit Tester, which measures exact leakage into the breathing zone of the respirator face piece. A report is producted per user(s), and given to the client along with a certificate signed by our staff of Industrial Hygenists and Certified Safety Professionals with over 45 years of experience.
OSHA requires that fit testing and respirator training be conducted annually for all persons required to use respiratory protection. Persons who use respirators also must be medically cleared. OSHA requires that full face respirators be fit tested quantitatively if they are to be used to their full assigned protection factor. All positive pressure face-pieces must be fit tested in a negative pressure configuration.
- Fit Testing Services may be performed at your facility or at our main office in Caguas. (Please contact us for date reservation)
- A detailed report of user diagnostic results is given by an experienced technician.
- Face Mask selection consultation is available.

FIRE RETARDANT & ELECTRICAL ARC UNIFORM PROGRAM
The RAFPS Safety F/R & Electrical Arc Uniform program helps assist in your selection of protective apparel to meet the NFPA 70E standards and OSHA regulations. The following are the services provided under the program:
- Initial meeting in order to familiarize with client's specific needs and company uniform policies.
- Determine weather a Hazard Risk Analysis has been conducted or needs to be conducted in order to identify high risk areas. (RAFPS Safety provides Electrical Hazard Risk Assestments seperatley. Please contact us for further information.)
- Aid in identifying the Hazard Risk Category applicable
- Aid in Garment Selection
- End-user measuring and record-keeping
- Determine if Company Logo and or Employee Name will be embroidered
- Brief presentation of NFPA70E, garment care and handling at time of delivery to end-users
